Hi, I’m Ashley Orr, the owner and creator of Sweet Nothing!
Baking has always been my passion, but when I’m not in the kitchen, I love diving into a great book or podcast—true crime is my favorite genre, and I’ve been known to fall asleep to shows like Dateline. I also have a deep love for horror, whether it’s in movies, books, or anything that keeps me on the edge of my seat.
When I need a break, you’ll often find me hitting the slopes to snowboard and soaking in the beauty of the mountains. At home, I’m happiest spending time with my husband and our amazing pit-lab mix, Cota, who fills our lives with endless love and joy.
Sweet Nothing is my dream come to life, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my love of baking and creativity with all of you!
At Sweet Nothing, we’re on a mission to prove that gluten-free doesn’t mean sacrificing flavor or quality. After being diagnosed with a gluten allergy in 2019, we quickly realized how hard it was to find truly delicious gluten-free baked goods. That challenge inspired us to create our own recipes from scratch, diving deep into the science of gluten-free baking to ensure every treat is nothing short of exceptional.
Perfecting our recipes took time—our signature chocolate chip cookie, for example, took 17 attempts to get just right! But that persistence and attention to detail reflect our commitment to crafting baked goods that rival, and often exceed, the quality of traditional gluten-filled treats.
Sweet Nothing has been a labor of love and a dream come true. We’re endlessly grateful for the support of our customers, friends, and family who inspire us every day. Our goal is simple: to bring joy to your table with gluten-free treats that are as extraordinary as they are delicious.
